Siobhan is the proud Owner and Director of Mortgage Light. She started the company in 2011 with the vision of providing clear and simple advice with unrivalled customer service to ensure each and every client gets the best possible product with minimal stress and delay.

She originally started working for an estate agent in 2007 as a negotiator and she loved helping people find their home. Working alongside new build developments, Siobhan was able to guide home buyers on availability, help structure deals and give them reassurance in buying off plan. This gave her a great foundation and understanding of the importance and effects mortgages have on buying a home which sparked her passion for the mortgage industry. This enthusiasm drove her to take it upon herself to get her qualifications and make her ambition a reality.

Anyone who knows Siobhan will tell you she is dedicated and committed, and she will go out of her way to achieve her goals. So it’s no surprise that she took it upon herself to launch Mortgage Light and demonstrate how she felt mortgage services should be offered.

Siobhan and Alex have worked together for over 8 years, and they have trained all the brokers that work at the firm to overcome the word ‘no’ and help find a solution for clients. The team take a genuine interest in getting to know each person and ensure the mortgage advice is tailored to their needs. The firm’s focus is assisting the individual/family on their current situation, but also being there to guide them on future house buying and protection decisions.

Fortunately Mortgage Light are experts in new homes, shared ownership and thrive on sourcing those cases that are especially challenging. The goal is to ensure all clients understand all of the what’s, why’s and how’s of getting their mortgage.

With her mother being Irish she has inherited a wonderful ability for making people feel at ease. Anyone that knows her will say she is uplifting, confident and warm. Siobhan is passionate about making her clients feel valued, so every year since the firm started she’s ensured that every client, old and new, receives a Christmas card to say thank you and to remind them how grateful she is for their continued support.

Siobhan is devoted to her family and took a back step these last 5 years to be there for her two beautiful young boys, Hadley and Caiden.  For downtime, it is important for Siobhan and her husband Steve to stop and enjoy the moments, so you’ll often find her relaxing on the dunes of Camber Sands, watching the tide going in and out whilst her little family dig in the sand and play in the sea.
