When first-time buyers Ryan and Rebecca had their offer accepted on a three-bedroom house in Bedfordshire, they never expected that a bad experience with their first mortgage broker would put their entire purchase in jeopardy. He continues: “I had been renting for almost 18 years, so buying this home means everything to me and my family – it’s given us security, somewhere we can raise our children and a place to put down roots.
